Catching Up...

WOOHOO I am BACK--I have SO MUCH to catch up on! We have been keeping super busy now that the weather is so nice; long walks in the neighborhood, visits to the park, petting zoos, birthday parties...This is truly one of the BEST times of year!

Taylor is almost eleven months and crawling like a mad woman, she will not sit still for a second...a dramatic change from her once idle "splits" she tended to prefer only a little while ago.

Taylor has quite a personality--she talks and talks like we have any clue what she is saying; but we can only imagine and we like to make up what it is she is telling us. She laughs to herself and claps alot; I seriously watch her and crack up laughing all day long. She did say "moew" in her own little way and she says "dada" "mama" "oh wow" and something that sounds like "book" and "ba ba" which I think means bottle. :) Oh and today she started waving hello and goodbye! I swear it is something new every day...

She's also started eating pretty much everything and anything we do, bananas, peaches, cheerios, carrots, applesauce, wheat bagels with cheese, yogurt, peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, OK I will stop--you get the drift. Our formula days are almost over--A LITTLE OVER ONE MORE MONTH! I can not even believe she is almost a year old!

Now that the weather is changing I think about where we were at this time last year...finishing the nursery and anxiously awaiting Taylor's arrival wondering just how our lives were going to change...and has it ever! :)

I do have to give a little shout out to my husband who pretty much ROCKS--seriously, Matt gets up EARLY every single morning just to sit in an hour and a half of traffic to and from work every day which enables me to be home with sweet Taylor. I am so grateful for him--I LOVE YOU MATT!

Here are a few pics from my birthday. Taylor and I spent the day hanging with family at the park--it was one of the first nice days this spring and so much fun!

Random pic of Taylor jumping in her Mammie's Johnny Jumper.

She LOVES it!

These are a few of my FAVORITE things...

1) Waking up to Taylor's sweet smile in anticipation on what the day will bring.
2) Taking long walks with Taylor on these chilly winter afternoons.
3) Cooking dinner with a yummy glass of wine. Or two.
4) Matt coming home from work.
5) Playing on the floor with Taylor after dinner.
6) Hearing her belly laugh when I pretend I am the tickle monster...

She just makes me LaUgH...

I am not kidding--no matter how tired I am, this girl is the funniest thing. She always makes me laugh--especially when she just laughs to herself and she doesn't know I am listening. These days she screams in delight ALL THE TIME--and when I say scream she SCREAMS, she crawls backwards, and her hair is just the greatest thing. I just love this girl--hahahaha.

She is not messin' around.

Her hair is awesome--every morning you just never know what your going to get.

This was her laughing to herself and I so wish I caught it with the video camera.

LOVES IT!

Dont mess with me until I have had my bottle.

Flexible girl. I guess since she was breech in my tummy with her feet in front of her face for 9 months...I mean that is insane!

I just think it is funny she sleeps like this...and she kinda looks like a boy in these Christmas PJ's that she is STILL wearing in the middle of January. :)

Happy 8 Month Birthday Taylor!

Taylor turned EIGHT months on January 12th. It's getting harder and harder to take a picture with her birthday hat--she just wants to rip it off! So this is the best we could do this month. Matt's like "It's not even her real birthday, WHY do you do this every month..." hahahahaha! LOVES IT!

Yes, she is still wearing Christmas PJ's. We just cant let go. lol!

Christmas & New Year's 2009

Taylor's first Christmas & New Year's were great yet bittersweet. My parents were in town and we enjoyed hanging out with them and Matt's family--just laying low and relaxing. And then Taylor got really sick right after Christmas and had to go to the ER because she had a high fever & she was wheezing and coughing really bad. The doctor was worried she might have Pneumonia so she sent us to the ER for a chest x-ray. Thank goodness she just has a bad case of Bronchiolitis (for adults it's just a bad cold--for babies it is a lot of congestion in their lungs in which they cough and cough to try to get it all that junk out). To say the least, our holiday was not exactly what we had hoped for.

Oh yeah, and she finally has a tooth! So she is cutting teeth AND going thru it with this Bronchiolitis. Poor girl. She would only sleep for one hour at a time and she just wanted to be held and comforted for four days straight. I didn't mind holding her like a little baby again but I felt so sorry for her. But she seems to be OK now so life is good again!

Here's to a HEALTHY and HAPPY 2010!

Santa brought her some new kicks--they match a pair Santa brought for me too. :)

She loves her blocks!

She loves the Johnny Jumper at her Mammie's house.

This is her split...

She goes down into a split onto her tummy. Strange kid.

New Year's Day trying to get a smile out of her even though she did not feel good.

Her first smile in a few days--YAY!

Happy Baby.

Happy Monday!

What in the world happened to this poor girl's hair while she was sleeping?!?
