We had a fun weekend with family! My Dad, Step Mom, Nieces, Cousins, Aunt, Uncle, and Sister came for a visit...it was raely nice to catch up with them for a bit. We had Sunday Dinner with Matt's family at Mellow Mushroom and then Maddie and Andrew came by and read a couple of books to Taylor--too cute! I survived my first half day at work too! :)
Please pray that I make it thru tomorrow--it is my first day back to work. I am easing my way into working full time. I work tomorrow and then next Wednesday and then full time again August Third. People might say I am a drama queen but I cant stand the thought of leaving my baby. :*( If I can make it thru this I can make it thru anything I swear! She is laughing and talking and doing all kinds of cool stuff right when I have to leave her. OK, Must think positive thoughts...Here is a cute pic of Miss Taylor showing her undies and laughing about it...
So Matt and I went down to the lake in the neighborhood with Taylor and his parents and I thought the sky looked really cool so I took a few pictures...After I took the first picture I was like "look Matt, you can see the moon in this picture even though we cant see it right now with the naked eye...I am going to take another picture..." well, I did take another picture--not even a SECOND later and the "moon" was gone! So we zoomed in on the picture and I swear it looks like a UFO! And then we took several pictures and there would be lights in the sky in one picture and then nothing the next. Believe what you want but I think we had some visitors last night...C-R-E-E-P-Y...
UFO!!!
I guess it flew away because it is NOT in this picture I took a SECOND later!!!
Taylor turned two months old on July 12--She is growing fast and we are having so much fun with her! She is "talking" a lot--her sweet smile and laughter are infectious! Here are some pictures of what we have been up to the past couple of weeks!
We actually went to the real pool one evening! Taylor and I watched as Matt floated in the water.
The guys in the Neighborhood were watching a fight and the girls hung out and talked babies...Here is Taylor born May 12, Andrew born May 18, and Annie born May 30!
I love reading to Taylor even though she is not quite sure what it is I am doing with her!
Cute pic of Matt, Taylor, and Bailey.
Taylor is looking more and more like her Daddy every day...
She is ready to PaRtY! She's starting young... lol!
The next month should be interesting, more for myself than for Taylor--I head back to work on August 3. I am hoping it is a smooth transition although I know it will be the hardest thing I ever do. But we will make it thru it and have more happy and fun times to come! :)
July 4th was a blast this year! It started off with Matt FINALLY caving in and putting in that pool I was begging for all this time! WOOHOO! It fit three adults, we wont show the pictures of us actually in it because it is rather embarrassing (our neighbors were probably mortified) but it was FUN and that is all that matters! We relaxed and soaked up the sun for a couple of hours while Taylor took a nap on the porch next to us! We were lucky that this weekend was a lot cooler than it has been...
On July 4th I ran/walked the Peachtree with Debbie, her friend LaDonna, and Kristen. It was a great way to get some exercise and also feel a little patriotic at the same time--God Bless America! :) We had dinner at our neighbors and then watched/set off fireworks at the lake in our neighborhood. Taylor actually liked watching the fireworks, it was kind of cool!
Taylor is growing so fast and she is so much fun. She is smiling and laughing a lot more now and she is doing pretty well with holding up her head. She loves to listen to music and dance around the house! Matt is working really hard and I am cherishing every moment I can with my little girl before I head back to work August 3. We will post more soon!
Here is our pool--isn't it GREAT?!?
Bailey loves Taylor's Pack 'n Play...
Me & Taylor, Lindley & Andrew--they are one week apart!
