Father's Day Weekend

This weekend was a nice, relaxing, LAZY weekend...we pretty much just hung out around the house (pretty uneventful), and then visited Debbie and Jim for dinner on Sunday. I keep telling Matt we should invest in a baby pool so we can go outside one day this summer instead of holing up inside--but it is just too darn hot for a new baby. If anyone knows us we are pretty active and really enjoy our time outside and definitely at the POOL during the summer months. But we always have next year to enjoy the sunshine and the pool--this season is all about relaxing and getting to know little Taylor! Here are some pics.

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! Taylor is smiling like crazy and sort of laughing now--Here are a couple of pictures of her in her PJ's and a short little video...OK, well maybe no video...after trying ALL DAY to post it, it is not letting me...oh well! OK and maybe just one pic because they were both very similar. OK so this post was not very successful. There is always tomorrow! Oh, but we did create a new title today! Taylor is ONE MONTH old!

Taylor turned one month old on June 12! Time is FLYING by! I wish it would S-L-O-W down...Here is a video I took and some pics!

We are finally venturing out into the world!

This week Taylor and I have finally ventured out of the house. Monday we went to Katie Estle's house and had our first play date with Abbie, Ansley, Madelyn, and Millie Kate. It was really nice to get out of the house and see some good friends, and Taylor did GREAT! I can finally get over my fear of leaving the house with her--and we can start to have some real fun this summer!

Taylor also smiled her first smile this week! Not just a "gas" smile, but a real one! I tried to get a good picture, but it is hard to catch a good big one in time.





Tuesday we went to lunch with one of my neighbors, Lindley and her baby Andrew who is only a week younger than Taylor. We went to The Fickle Pickle in Roswell and had a fun lunch outside on the porch. Of course the babies were perfect angels--they slept the whole time! :)

Wednesday my friend Allison from work came over to visit--we had a great time having some wine and catching up, Taylor seemed to like her too!



Thursday we ventured out to lunch with Mammie and Walker to Broadway Bagels and Target--woah, weare really getting adventurous! hehehe. Then Mammie watched Taylor while I went out and ran a couple of errands.



In the cart at Target. I am teaching her at a young age how fun it is to shop!



Looks like they were having a nice time sitting on the porch enjoying the thunderstorm.

Tomorrow is Taylor's one month Birthday! I cant believe one month has already gone by--I wish time would S-L-O-W down! We are enjoying every single moment with her--more fun times to come!!!

Finally, a minute to breathe...

Taylor Anne McNeal was born on May 12, 2009 at 5:40PM. She was 7 lb 9 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. She is pretty much the COOLEST thing EVER! OK, so I might be a little biased, but she has definitly changed our lives for the better...I really cant even explain how much we are in love with this little girl. She is absolutely perfect and I can just sit and stare at her for hours--I am so grateful for her and how she has added so much to our little family!
